The document analyzes the current manual and paper-based logistics processes between two Bosch manufacturing plants, BueP and BhP. It finds errors occurring due to manual activities and paperwork. To address this, the document proposes automating material and information flows using RFID technology in a "Logistics 4.0" closed-loop process. This would reduce manual activities, paperwork, errors, and inventory levels, achieving just-in-time delivery of the right materials at the right time and in the right quantities to the plants.
