2. OVERVIEW
Perodua Global Manufacturing is the heavy industry that build the
cars such as Axia, Bezza, and Ativa. The process of manufacturing is
run by the robot and human. The workload on manpower is heavy
and need a proper tools on workstation. The improper body posture
and poor workstation leads to injuries and health effect in long term.

Target Problem Statement
3. INTRODUCTION
To improve safety and productivity in heavy industry, new machinery and equipment
have replaced human workers. However, human workers are still required mainly to
perform manual handling tasks and processes that are not done by machines. Work
that involves manual material handling often involves pushing, pulling, lifting,
lowering, and carrying loads. The ergonomic danger may be increased by repetitive
and ineffective procedures.
4. PROBLEM
STATEMENT
Worker risk is 2 to 3 times higher for
high-repetitive jobs than for low-
repetitive tasks. Thus, if no additional
steps were made to address this
issue, it may be inferred that
repeated movement can result in
WMSD.
Workers who are exposed to
ergonomic risks like MMH are more
likely to experience discomfort across
their entire body or in their muscles.
5. OBJECTIVE
To suggest the
solution for the
problem statement.
To study the effect in
ergonomics field on
body posture
Apply the study in

6. SCOPE OF
STUDY
The research studies on the
understanding of the idea and
the concept of ergonomics as
well as identifying the techniques
to improve ergonomics in
industry.

9. METHODOLOGY
Method that use in this project is by using Ergonomic Assessment. This
assessment is to measure the risk factors in Perodua Global Manufacturing
specifically on manual handling tasks that may lead to musculoskeletal
disorders or injuries among the employee. From there, we can identify the risk
and come out with solutions to reduce injury among operators.
10. START
