4. Transportationand Infrastructure
EverydayinYuyaoaretransitingabout260.000/280.000vehicleswithanetwork
HighwaythatconnectsdirectlythebestcitiesoftheYangtzeriverdeltazone.
WiththeHighspeedtrainsispossibletoreachNingboinabout15minutes,Hangzhouin
20minutesandShanghaiinonlyanhour.Theseinfrastructuregrantsaflowofabout1
Millionofpeopleeveryday.
YuyaomunicipalityiscommittedtodevelopYuyao(withinthe2014)toreachthestatus
ofsecondgradecityasHangzhou.

5. YuyaocanalsousetheharbourofBeilun(Ningbo,the2°chineseharbour)and
Shanghai,farabout70and200kmfromYuyao.
Beilunisclassifiedinthe4bestharbourindeepwaterallovertheworldandthe
cargocarrierscanreachmorethan600harbourin100differentcountries.

6. EconomicVolume
In2012YuyaohasreachedaregionalGNPof71.177billionsofYuan,withabalanceof11.258billionsofYuanandapercapitaincomeof37,200Yuan.
Inthesameyeartheinfrastructuralinvestmentsreached36.15billionsofYuan,withagrowthof39,4%comparedwiththe2010.

7. Industrial benefit
Inthelast10years,thecityofYuyaospeeduptheindustrialdevelopmentprocessandis
inthe10morecompetitivechinesecountriesand,withaneconomicvolumethat
continuoslygrowsandapermanentcontributionoftheindustrialsectortotheregional
GNP.
TheprivatesectorisespeciallydevelopedandisakeypeculiarityofYuyao.TheGNPof
theprivatesectorrepresentthe80%oftheGNPofthecityofYuyao.Attheendof
2012,alltheindustrialcompaniesinYuyaoreached30.000units,withagrossproduct
amountof245.6billionsofYuan.

8. Foreigninvestments
From1984untiltheendof2012Yuyaoapproved1.816ForeignInvestedCommercialEnterprise,withaninvestmentof13.4billions$andcontractstouseforeigncapitalsequalsto8.06billions$,4.3billions$arestillinuse.
Inthese1.816companies,theprojectsaredividedbyprimary,secondaryandtertiarysectorandarerespectively2.31%,85.91%and11.78%ofthetotal.
Onlyinthe201267newForeignInvestedCommercialEnterprisewereapprovedwithaforeigncapitalequalto898millions$.SomeofthebestmultinationalcompaniesintheworldasHP,GE,Bosch,Honeywell,ItochuCorporation,Sanyo,Daiken,HuarunItouen,ecc. decidedtoopenanindustrialproductivesiteinYuyao.

9. YuyaoEconomicDevelopmentZone
Yuyao Economic Development Zone was created in the 1992 in a 102,06 km2 area and was 1 of the oldest economic development zones in the chinese country.

10. TheindustrialdevelopmentzoneobtainedtheISO14001certificationandintroducedatthe2.904differentprojects,attractinganamountofinvestmentsequalto69.057billionsofYuan,4.292billions$comefromforeigninvestments.In2012thevolumeoftheforeigntradeinthezonewas5.487billions$.
In2009Themunicipalityhasapprovedtheprojecttoincreasethezone,thatactuallyoccupy105.15km2andwasdividedbydifferenttematicareas:ChinaLightIndustryMoldTown,ZhejiangFarEastIndustrialTown,EasternUrbanNewcity,CoastalNewcity, WesternUrbanPark,OverseasTalentsIndustrialParkandScienceandTechnologyInnovationalCenter.

11. CoastalNew city
LaCoastalNewcityisoneofthegreatestareasoftheeconomicaldevelopmentzoneofYuyao
with67km2.IssitedintheYuyaonorthernareaandisneartheBayofHangzhouarea.The
strategicpositionofthisareaallowtheuseof5industrialparks:Theindustrialparkofthe
materialswithanewkindoffiber,Theprintingindustrialpark,theautoimotivecomponents
industrialpark,themodernlogisticindustrialparkandtheemerginginnovationindustrialpark.

12. Western UrbanPark
TheWesternUrbanParkisinthewesternareaofYuyao,nearthehighspeedtrainline,
Hangzhou–NingboandtheHighwayoftheBayofHangzhou,coveringa13.8km2area
Theparkisdedicatedtothedevelopmentofthehitechindustryliketheelectrooptical
integration,mechanical,electronicinformation,newmaterials,newenergy,precision
toolsandmedicalandITenvironments.

13. China Light IndustryMoldTown
TheChinaLightIndustryMoldTownisalsositedinthewesternareaofYuyaoin
A2.1km2area.IsthefirstindustrialprintingparkinthecontinentalChinaandattracted
already980companiesinthissector.
Theparkwasmadetorepresentanindustrialcomplexdedicatedtothemanufacturing,
projecting,R&D,thetechnicaltraining,theinformationservices,thePurchasingofraw
materialsandthetradeofequipmentforthemanufacturingofrawmaterials.

14. ZhejiangFar East Industrial Town
TheZhejiangFarEastIndustrialTownissitedinthesouthernareaofYuyaoandincludes
a2.2km2area
ThisareaisdedicatedtothedevelopmentandexpansionofTaiwanfinancedcompanies,
tothechangeandtheimprovementofthecompaniesinhighcompetitionsectors,like
theelectricalindustryandthepromotionandintroductionofnewmaterials,newsource
ofenergy,andtheelectronicinformation.

15. EasternUrbanNew City
TheEasternUrbanNewCitycoversa9.1km2areaandissitedinthenortherneastern
areaofYuyao.Isaresidentialdistrictecofriendlyandpeopleoriented,withcultural,
commercialandentertainmentbuilding.

16. Science and TechnologyInnovationCenter
TheScienceandTechnologyInnovationCenter,witha10.7km2area,alreadyhosts42
Startupcompaniesinthetechnologysector,intheelectronicinformation,medicalandhealth
andsoftwaredevelopment.
Inthisareaalsostaysthe’OverseasTalentsIndustrialPark’,thefirstparkdedicatedtothe
attractionofstateoftheartprojects,atTheR&DofExperimentalprojectsandlargescale
industrialprojects.Theparkisdividedby5areasdedicatedtonewrawmaterials,new
equipments,newsourcesofenergy,biologicalmedicineandelectronicinformation.
