Rich editing experience
Currently working as a Chief Copy Editor with Times of India. Job includes

I am looking forward to work in fields relating to media. Having worked as a

job responsibilities include editing stories, co-ordinating with reporters, making
pages, layouts. I also handle the team when the team head is not present.
Dec’11- Oct’ 12: Working as a Chief Sub-editor with MxMindia.com. My job
responsibilities include editing stories for the website. I also do feature stories on

double up as reporter for the print section.
May'07–Nov’11: Working as a Senior Copy Editor cum Correspondent on the City
desk. My job responsibilities include editing stories, page designing and story
selection.
Worked as a Senior Copy Editor cum Correspondent in DNA on the edit page. I
have also handled the arts page in DNA and the opinion and op-ed page in DNA
Sunday and helped with the books page.
My job responsibilities on the edit page included editing, proofing and handling
the edit page. I also sourced articles sometimes.
I also have several bylines to my credit. I have mostly worked as a general
features writer.
June–July'06: Worked as trainee reporter (intern) in Reuters India Ltd.
Apr–May'06: Worked as a trainee intern in NETV, Guwahati.
