I have set the highest goal for myself and hence, want to work to the best of my capacity. Politics and
Business interests me in particular as it affects everything else in life. I like to face challenges, head-
on. Given an opportunity, I would also like to travel a lot to report on Farmers, Mandi and trading
behaviour of commodities, which remains buried under the carpet. I have a penchant for news and
always want to be the first to report an event but at the same time I never compromise on the accuracy
and objectivity that I send across.
Professional Experience:
Working as Chief Copy Editor with Economictimes.com. Here I am writing, editing and
translating stories related to personal finance.
Worked as an editor with Employment news (English), weekly newspaper for youth. I
had done articles on events from time to time such as book reading day, youth and skill
development, youth and employment, job opportunities.
Handled social media page for Employment News.
Contributed as Commodity Expert and resource person for Door Darshan (DD) Kisan
channel. Writing script, doing research and writing excerpts for DD Kisan channel. Gathering
inputs from NCDEX and Agmarknet and researching. The bulletin Mandi khabar broadcasts on
DD Kisan channel every morning @8.00 am except Sunday.
Reported Business stories for National Duniya newspaper (Hindi) from Delhi and NCR
markets.
Covered Real Estate and Local Markets (Mandi and commodity). Joined on 1st
May, 2013 and
worked till 30th of Nov, 2015. I had given more than 300 stories for page one, two stories for
real estate page every week and contributed for many business focus pages.

political, and foreign news. Though, I was working as sub editor, I regularly contributed
