INTRODUCTION
Art forYouth London is a 4 day annual exhibition of engaging and
original art hosted at the prestigious Mall Galleries to support the
work of the charity UK Youth.
Now in its 29th year, the exhibition has become established as a
showcase for up and coming artists and for art lovers to spot
emerging talents.
We are now looking for a sponsor to partner this project and help
us develop the exhibition further. This proposal outlines the
exciting opportunities and benefits of your support.

ABOUT THE EVENT
Since its first appearance at the Mall Galleries in 1988 the exhibition has
been a highlight in the calendar for art lovers across the country.
It has provided a platform for some of the country’s most exciting talents
at every stage in their careers and features up to 1,000 artworks from
about 130 artists each year.
It has also been a vibrant fund-raising success, generating almost £2
million for UK Youth’s vital work with young people and raising £100,000
in 2015 alone. In 2015 the exhibition attracted an audience of over 2,500
people including VIPS and senior business executives.
The event is to be held from the 12th-15th September this year with an
exclusive preview evening on the 12th and a private party on the 13th.
The exhibition’s ticketed private views will be held on the 14th
and 15th of September - advance ticket purchase available on
www.artforyouth.com.Artists donate 35% of their sales to the charity; and
the exhibition is further supported by both live and silent auctions and a
raffle. Funds are also generated from ticket sales and sponsor donations.
The exhibition attracts widespread coverage in the media and generates
a high volume of traffic and a high profile on social media channels. There
are also a wide range of other collateral that provide a platform for a
sponsor message and branding to own the initiative.
Art for Youth is organised by a committed and experienced volunteer
committee and the exhibition is staffed by about 75 dedicated volunteers.

UK Youth_Art for Youth Sponsor_10pp A4:Layout 1 22/3/16 09:38 Page 7
UK Youth is a leading national charity, founded in 1911, that delivers non-formal
education opportunities for young people aged 9-25 across the length and
breadth of the country.
Through our network of youth development organisations across the UK we
empower 729,694 young people to take control of their own lives with the support,
encouragement and opportunities they need to help them reach their full potential
and grow into confident, capable adults who lead fulfilling lives. In the past year
68,583 of these young people took part in our innovative national programmes,
gained accreditation or attended our outdoor learning centre at Avon Tyrrell. We
simply couldn’t continue our vital work without the funds raised at Art for Youth
London.

ABOUT UK YOUTH
“As a global business we have found Art for Youth London to be extremely popular
with our international clients. Combining several facets of British life such as charity,
creativity and strength in business, we have customers who arrange their visits to
London to coincide with the event, indeed pieces have been dispatched to different
parts of the world.
Art for Youth fits closely with our belief that organisations like Amlin should play an
active role in the society of which we are part. A global business, with our origins and
headquarters in the City, we are conscious there can be many routes into
organisations like Amlin. People join us from a variety of backgrounds and we
recognise the value of helping those whose start in life may present more challenges.
Proud of our association with an event that seeks to encourage and sustain the
creative force for which Britain is justly proud, we recognise the contribution that
aesthetics and artistic freedom make to an advanced, desirable society. Through its
beautifully curated range of pieces, chosen to reflect and appeal to different
approaches, tastes and aesthetics, Art for Youth has enabled Amlin to make a clear
statement. I recommend Art for Youth to you without hesitation.”
Dr Adrian Britten, Director of Communications Amlin Plc.
