Project Experience
The following is a representative selection of my project experience:
Resource International, Columbus, Ohio, May 2014 to Present. I performed as a QA Senior Civil Inspector on the Ohio
River Bridges Project, but worked on both the Indiana and Kentucky sides of the project. Currently I am living in Medina,
Ohio were I just completed two ODOT bridge replacement projects in Belmont County along Interstate 70.
Antero Resources Corp., Bridgeport, West Virginia, October 2013 to 2014. I was the chief inspector for quality assurance
for soils and construction material observation and testing services for two new Natural Gas Compressor Stations with
eleven compressors each, to include; removal of all the trees and vegetation, installation of access roads, and
construction of compressor pads. I was also the lead over two other Civil Field Inspectors.
Costco, Baxter, Minnesota, June 2012 to 2013. I was the lead inspector for quality assurance for soils and construction
material observation and testing services for new Costco Wholesale stores and gas stations. I also constructed stores in
Lexington, Kentucky, Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Chicago, Illinois
QA Representative, Camp Marmal, Mazar-e-Sharif, Afghanistan. Assumed duties as Quality Assurance Representative at
Camp Marmal, for Stanley/Baker and the US Army Corps of Engineers, on various MILCON projects. I was responsible
for reviewing the sub-contractor’s schedules to make sure project milestones and long lead times were met efficiently and
within prescribed budget constraints. I also worked with the Construction/Quality Managers, and was responsible for, the
initial development of the project schedules, for entry into the USACE RMS tracking system.

2. Project Engineer/QA Representative, Camp Cooke, Taji, Iraq, May 2007 to April 2011. Assumed duties as Project
Engineer at Taji Iraqi National Depot, for Stanley/Baker/Hill and the US Army Corps of Engineers on various projects. At
Taji, I was responsible for making sure the Quality Control Mangers were CQM qualified and that they were able to
produce Project Schedules that were acceptable for input into the RMS system. I also conducted CQM Classes for the
contractors QC Managers.
Senior Civil Engineer, 600 Person Camp, Baghdad (Green Zone), Iraq, November 2005 to May 2007. Responsible for
Civil Engineering functions on 600 Person Camp (across street from US Embassy), Baghdad, Iraq for US Dept. of State.
While with the US Dept. of State, I was responsible for all aspects of Construction Management, to include; setting up the
project Schedule, optimizing the Schedule, and organizing the work of approximately 400 TCN workers.
Construction/Site Manager, Camp Speicher, Iraq, November 2004 to November 2005. Responsible for Construction
Management on Camp Speicher, Iraq for Operation Iraqi Freedom. Responsible for all aspects of Construction of a new
16 MW Power Plant. Worked with the sub-contractor personnel in the development/updating of their project Schedule and
day-to-day activities.
Construction Manager, Camp Taji, Iraq, June 2004 to November 2004. Responsible for Construction Management on
Camp Taji, Iraq for Operation Iraqi Freedom. Directed other Civil and Mechanical Engineers in the performance of their
duties. Responsible for all aspects of relocating existing 50-man camp to new 100-man camp.
Division Manager, Construction Administration, February 2004 to June 2004. HMB Professional Engineers, Inc., Frankfort,
Kentucky. Responsible for all phases of Contract Administration over various jobs throughout several states to include:
Kentucky, Tennessee, Indiana, Alabama, West Virginia, and Georgia.
QC/Field Engineer, Civil, Nuclear Waste Treatment Plant, May 2002 to February 2004. Bechtel National, Inc., Richland,
Washington. Sole Quality Inspector for Bechtel at Central Premix Concrete Batch Plant. Responsible for Quality of
Concrete for an estimated 300,000 cubic yards. While with Bechtel here in Las Vegas at McCarran International Airport,
and Washington State for Bechtel and the Department of Energy, I was responsible for reviewing the sub-contractor’s
schedules to make sure project milestones and long lead times were met efficiently and within prescribed budget
constraints.
Lead Inspector, Las Vegas Operations, November 2000 to May 2002. Bechtel, Inc., Las Vegas, Nevada. Sole Inspector at
North Las Vegas Airport for construction of new runway/taxiways. Due to be inspector on upcoming two new runways at
Henderson Airport.
Manager, Las Vegas Operations, August 1998 to November 2000. Tri-State Testing Laboratories, Inc., Las Vegas,
Nevada. In charge of all aspects of setting up a new office/lab. Hired and managed eight other people in the daily
functions of their duties. Secured Beltway and McCarran Airport jobs with MMC, Inc. wrote an approved QC Plan for Clark
County Dept. of Public Works.
