So we wanted to show a break down of tuition fees across the us and noticed that some states are much more affordable than others. The affordable states range from 1-5 thousand a year in tuition compared to those with a tuition of over 10 thousand a year. We need to ask ourselves why there is such a large gap between these states? One might think that its living cost, but when you look at the most expensive places to live like california and ny their tuition is fairly average compared to states with higher tuition like vermont
Gov needs to reevaluate … by increasing funding and support to students we will further our society and develpment as a whole.
If tuition keeps increasing, then more students will need to take out more loans which will likely cause more defaults. This will be extremely harmful to our economy in two ways, it will put a financial burden on our government and create and educational burden both Within our own nation and internationally
It will cause a Bigger gap between those who can afford this increase compared to those who can’t
So if we want to look forward to a brighter future, the government needs to make a change.
