Q1
Leigh Steinberg is an American sports agent who was born and raised in Los
Angeles by his parents, a teacher and a librarian, who pushed public service
along with ambition. He has represented the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL draft
a record eight times. Steinberg is often credited as the real-life inspiration of the
sports agent from Cameron Crowe's film _____ _______ in 1996.
Cameron Crowe originally wrote the screenplay for Tom Hanks. Crowe took so
long to write the screenplay that by the time the film was ready to be made, he
felt Hanks was too old to play the part. Tom Cruise would go on to play the role
of the protagonist.
Which movie is it?
Answer
Q2
______’s _____, or medial epicondylitis, is tendinosis of the medial epicondyle on the
inside of the elbow. It is in some ways similar to its ‘tennis’ counterpart, which affects the
outside at the lateral epicondyle.
This is the most common elbow injury for rock climbers, whose sport is grip intensive.
The pain is normally caused due to stress on the tendon as a result of the large amount of
grip exerted by the digits and torsion of the wrist which is caused by the use and action of
the cluster of muscles on the condyle of the ulna. However, more than 90% of cases are
not actually from sports-related injuries, but rather from labor-related occupations with
forceful repetitive activities (such as construction and plumbing).
What is it?
Answer
Golfer’s elbow
Q3: Identify X and Y.
X was an American pro boxer who held the world heavyweight title from 1952 to 1956. He
is the only Heavyweight champion to have finished his career undefeated. X has been
included by boxing historians in lists of the greatest boxers of all time, and is currently
ranked by BoxRec as the fifth greatest heavyweight boxer in history.
His knockout-to-win percentage of 87.76% remains one of the highest in heavyweight
boxing history.
In late July 1969, he starred in the filming of The Superfight: X vs. Y. The two boxers were
filmed sparring, then the film was edited to match a computer simulation of a hypothetical
fight between them, each in their prime. It aired on January 20, 1970, with one version
having X winning and the second version having Y winning.
Answer

to the attention of the Ideal Toy Corporation, who purchased the rights to the

Q7: Identify X and Y
X literally “duck game", is a game played on horseback that combines elements from polo
and basketball. It is the national sport of Y since 1953. X is Spanish for “duck", as early
games used a live duck inside a basket instead of a ball.
Accounts of early versions of X have been written since 1610. The playing field would
often stretch the distance between neighbouring ranches. The first team to reach its own
ranch house with the duck would be declared the winner.
X was banned several times because of the violence associated with it . Horsemen were
trampled underfoot, and many died in knife fights started in the heat of the game. During
the 1930s, X was regulated by Alberto del Castillo Posse, who drafted a set of rules
inspired by modern polo. The game gained legitimacy to the point that the President of Y
declared X to be Y's national game in 1953.

used to be held at Y located in the Maidan region of Kolkata .The Cup was initially
organized by the Indian Football Association, until the Calcutta Hockey League took
over in 1905.
Dhyan Chand famously wrote in his autobiography “this tournament has had a non-
stop run. World Wars I and II did not affect the tournament. Threats of Japanese
bombs and actual bombings in Kolkata while the hockey season was on also did not
prevent the tournament from being held. That being said, it is sad to think that the
tournament had to yield to the communal frenzy which gripped the nation in 1946-
47.”
Answer
Beighton Cup
Mohun Bagan Ground
Q10: Who’s Y? Name the biopic.
The idea of the biopic came about when Robert De Niro read the autobiography
upon which the film is based. Although disappointed by the book's writing style,
he became fascinated by the character of Y. He showed the book to Martin
Scorsese in the hope that he would consider the project. Scorsese repeatedly
turned down the opportunity to direct the film, claiming he had no idea what the
book was about, even though he had read some of the text. After nearly dying
from a drug overdose, Scorsese agreed to make the film, not only to save his own
life but also to save his career. Scorsese began to relate very personally to the
story of Y, and in it he saw how the boxing ring can be "an allegory for whatever
you do in life”, which for him paralleled moviemaking, “you make movies,
you’re in the ring each time.”

match against Australia, Y gave the Australians a scare with figures of 8.2-6-7-3
and collecting Man-of-the-match honours. Y announced at the end of the
tournament that he would be retiring, this time for good.

The pain is normally caused due to stress on the tendon as a result of the large amount of grip exerted by the digits and torsion of the wrist which is caused by the use and action of the cluster of muscles on the condyle of the ulna. However, more than 90% of cases are not actually from sports-related injuries, but rather from labor-related occupations with forceful repetitive activities (such as construction and plumbing). X is Spanish for “duck", as early games used a live duck inside a basket instead of a ball. Accounts of early versions of X have been written since 1610. The playing field would often stretch the distance between neighbouring ranches. The first team to reach its own ranch house with the duck would be declared the winner. X was banned several times because of the violence associated with it . Horsemen were trampled underfoot, and many died in knife fights started in the heat of the game. During the 1930s, X was regulated by Alberto del Castillo Posse, who drafted a set of rules inspired by modern polo.
