Gujarat Heavy Chemicals ltd plant
During the intern at GHCL , I worked on the ongoing project of Gujarat Heavy Chemicals ltd plant "Dilution
due to mother liquor from Refined Bi-carbonate plant " under DGM(Suresh Deshpande) of the plant .My
project focused on increasing chloride concentration in the main stream solution to increase the overall
production of soda ash. My solution to the problem was based on difference between solubility of Sodium
Carbonate and Sodium Bicarbonate, which earned appreciation from the mentor himself. Their huge
cooperation with a newbie intern augmented my passion in the field.

Fuel Production with Agro-residues:
Designing a efficient method to convert Agricultural Waste into Bio-fuel by hydrolysis and without
enzymatic oxidation of the waste. During this project we studied about the ways to extract hemi-
cellulose and cellulose from lignin and then convert the cellulose and hemicellulose into the Bio-Diesel .
