Professional Goal
To contribute to teachers’ understanding of best teaching strategies and integrating technology to
develop students’ knowledge in an engaging, collaborative, and high-tech learning environment
Teaching Philosophy
The face of teaching 'IT' or 'ICT' skills to students is changing and can no longer be done under the
guise of teaching discrete skills that are not connected to content. Skills needed to be successful
should be interwoven throughout the curriculum to prepare students for future jobs, many of
which do not yet exist. Student-centered learning should be the focus, instead of the technology.
