partners on a bid to construct a coal power plant in the Dominican Republic.
 Principal Engineer, responsible for the review of planning studies associated with the
development of the power sector in Mauritania and resulting plans for installation of the
next generating units.
 Task Leader and Senior Energy Planning Engineer, Development of the National Integrated
Resource Plan, Namibia for the World Bank Group / Electricity Control Board. Responsible
for the preparation of plans outlining the medium and long term expansion of the
generation, power exchanges and transmission system in Namibia. The main goal of the
study was to identify the supply mix of resources to meet the energy needs in a sustainable,
efficient, safe and reliable manner at the lowest cost taking into account such diverse factors
as inherent generation costs (investment, fuel and O&M) as well as contribution to the local
economy, emissions, job creation, grid integration and socio-economic issues and impacts.
 Senior Power System Engineer, responsible for provision of power market analysis of
Mozambique and Zambia in terms of supply and demand, regulation and commercial
operation, investment opportunities and electricity price.
 Principal Engineer, Preparation of Strategic Toolkit to Assess Opportunities under the
Green Energy and Green Economy Act for the Electricity Distributors Association.
 Senior Electrical Engineer and Energy Specialist for Trade-off Studies for Power Supply to
Remote Loads. Responsible for determining the most adequate manner to supply loads far
from the electrical system including grid supply and/or local generation resources
encompassing a range of thermal (diesel, GTs, CCGTs, coal and oil) technologies, hydro and
non-conventional renewable energies.
 Senior Electrical Engineer and Commercial Terms Specialist for Independent Engineering
Review assignments of hydro, wind turbine, thermal and transmission line projects for
several lenders. Responsible for the assessment of the transmission connection to the
system, loss calculations and review of project agreements including EPC, TSA,
interconnection agreement, wheeling agreement, power purchase agreement, fuel supply

rights contract to determine if the provisions in the agreements are compatible with the
expected output of the project and to ensure that all agreements are coordinated and do not
expose the lenders to undue risks. The projects were located in North, Central and South
America and Africa and the agreements were reviewed in their original language.
 CDM Project Development Study for a large European Utility. Review and analysis of CDM
programs in various economies according to the business climate.
 Power Infrastructure Specialist, Feasibility Study of Renewable Energy for Power in the
Dominican Republic. Preparation of power purchase agreements, fuel supply agreements,
regulatory review and the preliminary information memorandum.
 Power System Planner, Market Analysis, Bonyic Hydroelectric Project, Panama.
 Power System Planner, AK-BC Intertie Feasibility Study SE Alaska. Responsible for the
development and analysis of various supply alternatives to meet the demand of several
south east Alaska communities and to export surplus hydroelectric power to the British
Columbia market or to the lower 48 states.
 Energy Engineer, Preparation of a National Integrated Electricity Expansion Plan and
Efficiency Study for Jamaica prepared for the Cabinet Office, Government of Jamaica.
Responsible for the preparation of a national level expansion plan integrating future
generation and transmission requirements.
 Project Engineer, Evaluation of New Generation in South East Tanzania. Technical and
economic analysis to determine the economic viability associated with the development of
400 MW of new generation in South East Tanzania.
 Power System Engineer, Feasibility Study for Electric Transmission and Distribution - West
Bank and Gaza. Responsible for the development, analysis and evaluation of green field
transmission alternatives to supply the Palestinian territories.
 Reliability Specialist, Regional Electrical Energy Project, Central America, Transmission
Planning for ENEE Honduras. Responsible for evaluating the short term reliability level of
the transmission system in Honduras and proposing measures to improve the system.
