Rather than address this letter to “Whom it may concern”, 1-27-15
I will address it to the “next employer” of Angela Gilliam.
If you are reading this letter, you are entertaining the idea of whether to employ this person among a
list of potential candidates that you are interviewing. There is a bit of uncertainty because you know
how important it is to get this decision right; for it is so costly to hire the wrong person. I too was in the
same position as yourself approx. a year ago.

She is a fast learner, easily gets along with others in the team, she is one that does not “watch the
clock”, I have often had to remind her that it was time to go home. She has grown so thoroughly in this
industry that I will hate to lose her. She will definitely be a loss to our company when she leaves and an
asset to whomever hires her next. It has been my pleasure to write this letter of recommendation and I
couldn’t recommend her any higher. If she came back to this area in the future, I would do whatever
was necessary to ensure she had a place of employment back with our company.
