Position Title with briefdescription ofyour responsibilities:
Women’s Basketball Assistant Coach
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assists the head coach in managing and directing the basketball program.
Assists the head basketball coach with all aspects of the team including training,
competing and scheduling.
Organizes and maintains accurate inventory of basketball equipment and uniforms.
Coordinates travel arrangements.
Coordinates the scouting and tape exchange.
Coordinates facility needs of visiting teams.
Organizes and completes all required paperwork
Assists the administration with scholarship fundraising.
Commits to and is responsible for adhering to all rules and regulations set forth for the
team, the College, the South Atlantic Conference and the NCAA with the utmost
integrity.
Assists with recruiting including calling prospective student-athletes, evaluating high
school and junior college players, and maintaining an accurate records and database
on the NCAA’s Compliance Assistant program.

I worked as an certified and licensed athletic trainer for a high school for three years. I also played
basketball for 20 years.
Career Goals- What career goals do you expectto pursue after graduation from this program?
My main career goalis to obtain a job position dealing with HR that will enhance my knowledge and
skills, along with learning proper documentation for the field.
2. Program Expectations:What do you expectto experience in this program?
In this program I expect to gain as much knowledge as possible about the HRD department, so I can
receive a job position dealing with title. I want to learn as much as I can so once I am put in a job title
position I will be able to become an asset to the team. I plan on receiving a position dealing with HR
and doing the best I can to help that company/organization improve/excel.
List any particular roles oftraining or HRD that you already have developed fairly well for
yourself.
I played basketball for 20 years including 4 collegiate years and 2 professional years. As a basketball
player I feel that it is a great sport to help and teach someone life lessons. Being a basketball player and
now coach,I feel that human performance is important because you’re planning for future
improvements in the way an individual performs while also discovering and analyzing important gaps.
I am very comfortable doing these things so I’m very confident that I will excel in the HR department.
