Baptist World Aid Australia is the international aid and
development arm of the Baptist Churches of Australia. It
manages over 80 aid and development projects in more than a
dozen countries, and supports more than 15,000 children in
child sponsorship programs throughout Asia and Africa.
Responsibilities
 Ensure effective delivery of $13.5 million budget against
KPIs for frontline aid and development – minimum 80%
of all funds received to be used in direct services
 Lead Australia-wide team of 67 people including
volunteers
 Effectively lead the fundraising and community
engagement teams, ensuring that a range of marketing,
fundraising, and benevolent options are used to
enhance community engagement and maximise
donation and bequest revenue
 Lead financial management and budgetary processes
across multiple currencies
 Effectively and efficiently manage the organisation’s
major assets, information and knowledge management,
capital purchases and contracts
 Appropriately manage all HR and WHS issues, policies
and practices
 Act as Company Secretary and provide advice and
