Within the Woods is a psychological thriller targeting teenagers and young adults. The film introduces Richard, a 45-year-old man obsessed with finding evidence of Imogen, a woman who lives in the woods. Richard experiences hallucinations and flashbacks related to Imogen. He returns to the woods with a camera where strange events occur. The film also shows flashbacks of Imogen at age 17 recovering from being raped. In the climax, Richard dreams of being called back to the woods to kill Imogen in order to escape her grasp.

6. Introduction
As the narrative begins, we are introduced to Richard, a
middle aged man, living by himself in a run-down apartment.
Every morning he searches for new evidence surrounding the
existence of a woman, named Imogen, who lives in the woods.
Richard has always had a supernatural attraction to ever since
he was a child.
We learn about how every night he experiences terrifying

Richard furthers his investigation by returning to the
woods.
Armed with a flashlight and a camcorder, he enters, unaware
what he is about to face.
Upon entering, the marks on his arm gradually increase in
pain.
Objects and shadows run in and around the trees in front of
him as the name Callum' is whispered in his ear.
Terrified, he leaves the woods and returns to his apartment.
15. Middle - Imogen
flashbacks from her perspective which are
triggered after seeing Richards face.
Aged 17 in the flashback, Imogen is seen to
be recovering after being raped.
She is in tears, on the floor in a dark
side street.
16. Ending
After Richard posts the video he shot on
his visit online, he remains desperate for
advice and assistance on what to do next.
The only way to escape her grasp is to kill
her.

Silence surrounds the woods as he finds her sleeping
on the ground covered in a bed of leaves and papers.
Imogen awakes from her sleep, looks Richard in the
eyes, crying, and says โCallum, my boy'.
Richard slams the knife down into the leaves.
Richards smile turns slowly into a frown as the
whispers of Callum continue but this time louder
pulling him to the ground.
