● Designed, conducted and authored a report “Community in the City: Planning and Social Media,” exploring the
effective use of social media tools and platforms in 11 city governments across the United States.
â—Ź Sparked a conversation among practicing planners about the efficacy of social media tools, and their

â—Ź Developed a personal brand around development, politics, government and city planning. Maintain a
professional Twitter profile with more than 2,000 followers, and managed Boise Weekly and The Blue Review
Facebook pages, each with 10s of thousands of followers
â—Ź Editor and contributor of a strategic website development project for Southern Idaho Tourism, targeting
recreation-based economic development opportunities. Helped elevate the conversation about tourism in
Southern Idaho from smaller, local, events-based topics to a regional, brand-specific strategy relying on use of
