frequency domain analysis, filters and modeling, acquired in France and Canada (dual citizenship). Specialized
in audio and speech processing. Proficient in C/C++, assembler, DSP programming and MATLAB. Fluent in both
English and French. Good written and oral communication skills and experience in technical documentation.
WORK EXPERIENCE
2010 R&D Engineer
May - October APTUS, Boulogne-Billancourt, France - 6 month contract at Tyco Electronics - Touch Solutions
Involved in the signal processing team for the development of acoustic touch solutions.
Developed mono-touch localization solutions for eBook applications, as well as gesture
recognition solutions for mobile phone applications (MATLAB).
Prepared technical documentations on the algorithms.
2008 - 2009 Engineering Research Associate
Speech and Audio Processing Laboratory, partner of VoiceAge Corporation (ACELP technology)
University of Sherbrooke, QC
Designed and implemented a speech enhancement algorithm based on the Empirical Mode
Decomposition (EMD) – MATLAB and C programming.
Domain of expertise: Audio and speech processing – Time and frequency domain analysis
– Filters – Noise suppression and speech enhancement – Audio source separation.
2008 Teaching Assistant
University of Sherbrooke, QC
Assisted professors in a co-op project to develop a sound synthesizer in assembler,
embedded in a Texas Instrument DSP platform.
Supervised students in laboratory sessions and corrected exams.
2006 Engineering Intern
Summer Vision & Image lab, University of Toronto, ON
Assisted a Master’s student in the analysis and representation of segmentation data
pertaining to Cardiac MRI – Computer Vision
Developed software design skills in a very short period of time and learnt computer vision
methods used in the segmentation of cardiac images.
