Bachelor of Electrical Engineering September 2011 – November 2015
Carleton University, Ottawa, Ontario
 Carleton University Entrance Scholarship
RELEVANT SKILLS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Engineering/Soft skills
 Self-motivated, driven and organized individual with strong interpersonal and communications skills,
which is evident through various work and volunteer experiences
 Strong analytical, problem-solving and time management skills with exceptional work ethic, attention
to detail and can do approach. Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
 Hands-on experience in high-level programming languages such as C, C++, Java and Matlab
 Hands-on experience in embedded systems, VHDL and assembly language
 Extensive experience in designing digital and analog electronic circuits
 Experience in using Agilent ADS, Ansoft Designer, PSpice, OrCAD Capture, Xilinx ISE, Matlab,
SimuLink, Pro-E, EAGLE PCB, IntelliCad, MS Visio, MS Excel and MS Word
 Designed electronic circuits involving filters, amplifiers, differential pairs, feedback circuits, PLLs,
switched capacitors, oscillators, generators, modulators, timers, micro-controllers, solar panels and
others while meeting the parameters of CMR, noise, gain, bandwidth, slew rate, quality factor etcetera
 Understanding of Cellular generations such as 2G/GSM, 3G/UMTS and 4G/LTE/LTE-A
 Hands-on experience taking RF and antenna measurements such as frequency, wavelength, PSD and
others with the help of RF instruments such as spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope and anechoic chamber
 Practical application of link budget, wireless propagation models, noise figure, BER, MIMO systems,
multiplexing, beamforming, coverage area, handover parameters, antenna attributes, and factors
affecting communication such as path loss, fading, shadowing etc.
 Performed Planar Antenna and Microwave Circuit CAD
 Experience in designing PCB using industry standard OrCAD Capture and EAGLE PCB
Communication Skills
 Successfully completed Robotic Laser Tag System project while working in a diverse group of six
members. Took the initiative to distribute the workload equally among team members and set up
productive timelines. Effective communication and collaborative team work led to the on-time project
completion with an A+ grade
 Effectively completed the Communication Skills for Engineers course with an A grade. Delivered many
group presentations, summarized project findings and wrote technical reports
