ISSUES
1 Construction of Sump cum Pump house for Package-1 at survey no 76/1 of Nandawadagi
village was initially stopped by the land owners as they were demanding already awarded Land
compensation by Government for Delivery Chamber and from march the work is in progress.
2 Laying of Gravity Main Pipe line (Total length -14Km already 6.50 km laid) is delayed as the
Farmers are not allowing to work due to standing crops and demanding for Award of land
compensation.-Land Acquisition is under award stage (19(1)).
3 Due to Standing Crops, the progress of the work is getting delayed at Bulk Water supply and
Feeder pipeline laying works.
4 For 33KV sub station power sanction is obtained from KPTCL, Transmission line from
Kandagal to sub station Survey work & Estimate preparation is under progress
5 Laying of Gravity Main Pipe line 6.50Km has been completed and remaining work is under
progress. MS pipe fabrication at site is approved by competent authority and accordingly QAP
is submitted for approval
6 Thrust valves, Air valves and scour valves design and drawings are approved, QAP of the
valves are not submitted by the agency. The gaps are left for construction of these valves in the
Gravity main and also for the Hydro testing. The hydro pressure test is not been done for the
laid pipe line.
7 Construction of zonal head control rooms (24 Nos) are not allowed by the farmers due to
standing crops and also demanding for land compensation.
