16. Hygiene: Trickle down challenges addressed
Cleanbox’s approach to decontamination, smell prevention, and drying of HMDs
impacts:
1. Clean experience between each user so that the bacteria, virus, contagions, makeup and personal hygiene
issues from one person don’t transfer to the next one—or the next 100.
2. The extra time (and additional staff for theme parks and high volume experiences) currently required to
clean between users, using a labor-intensive (disposable) solution.
3. The problem of drying headsets, as it is critical to avoid a customer feeling the sweat from the previous
user, smelling the Clorox from a Clorox wipe, or having an allergic reaction to other cleansers. It is also
critical to the life span of the HMD to address wetness that could permeate the electronics.
