What’s the difference
between Youth Programs
and Summer Camps?
Youth programs run year-round in 30-90
minute sessions over 4-8 weeks, and
usually have multiple start dates options
throughout a term. UBC Camps offers
half or full-day Spring Break and Summer
camps that run for one week, targeted
to specific interests and activities. For
example, if you’re looking to get your
3-year-old into swimming, the Play & Swim
Aquatics Preschool camp is a fun intro-
duction to the pool, and it can be followed
up with the Preschool Sea Otter Red Cross
swim lesson for further skill development.
25. SUMMER CAMPS
Summer 2016 camps run from June 20 until September 2. Register today at camps.ubc.ca
UBC Camps offers a multitude of programs, ranging from arts and
music, to sport and recreation, to health and enrichment. This year
we are proud to introduce 17 new camps, including more Adventures
Abound and soccer programming. We also offer UBC Thunderbirds
sport performance camps, which give participants the opportunity
to train with UBC’s elite, professional coaching staff.
26. SRC Gym Activities
Basketball, badminton, volleyball, & futsal
With various sessions throughout the week,
drop-in sports are free for all current UBC students,
staff, faculty and UNA residents (public rate is
$5.50). All equipment is provided at the SRC front
desk. Weekly schedule subject to change, visit
