2. Smart Factory !based on concept industry 4.0
• Industry 4.0 :- A German term for the trend of automation and
data exchange in manufacturing .it includes cyber-physical systems,
the internet of things and cloud computing. Industry 4.0 creates what
has been called a “Smart Factory”.
• Smart Factory :- It is the Factory of the future and it provides the
dynamic production facility ,where machinery and equipment will
have ability to improve processes through self optimization and
autonomous decision–making.
3. Smart Factory
• The Smart Factory Elements make up a
control loop.
• According to this control loop, production
is planned (Planning & Scheduling) based
on specifications from different sources
and a plan is then implemented
(Execution).
• The data collected is analyzed (Analytics)
to make forecasts (Prediction).
• Subsequently, the findings from analytics
and prediction flow back into planning.
• The Industrial Internet of Things
(IIoT) supports this cycle by collecting and
providing data.
4. IIOT in Smart Factory
• Suppose Factory contains a manufacturing plant and in that plant
there are 100 machines are operated in parallel.
• By conventional method it will require 100 operators to operate that
machines and also needs supervisors.
• But after implementation of IIOT in plant instead of 100 operators
and supervisors we will require only one man to operate the total
machine shop of manicuring plant.

6. Solution for the future smart factory plant
1. Implement the embedded system in the machine to connect the
machine to cloud database as well as to remote HMI.
2. Provide network connection to Embedded system to connect the
internet
3. after that we can able to give inputs and able to read output of
machines.
4. Implement the Embedded quality analysis system after machine
output .
5. Quality analysis output is the notification for quality control team
