Brief About 92 case study schools are being developed as self sustained schools with own generation of energy, water and waste. single step multiple targets, local to global, Atmanirbhar. Schools will generate own source of income by carbon revenue which will help them in maintaining their hygiene & Health. Target is to turn all 55 K schools with 150,000,000 students will experience sustainability in their own school for better decision making in future. Solar power will generate power with storage and balance to be exported to grid, Low watt appliances to include changing of 55 Watt fans to 35 Watts and 28 Watt Tube-lights to 18 Watt LED. Minimum storage of 50 K liters in each school for harvested rain water which will be used on daily basis with solar sterilisation and purification. Food and toilet waste to be fed to biogas plant, which help in discard of human feceal on Public water bodies or in open. SDG 4 5, 6,7 improve education opportunity for all. More girl participation to finish secondary education, drinking water and WASH facilities improves parents security for their children . Over the years funds have been spent on temporary solutions for the school infrastructure but if sustainability is prime target than capital cost one invested will be available in long run. maintained will be the only expense. Schools are the stakeholders who needs to reap benefits in your growing age which will make them better decision makers of future.
