DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WORDSWORTH AND COLERIDGE
WILLIAM WORDSWORTH
 INTRODUCTION :
 A British poet who was born April 7,1770 in
cockermouth ,camberland,in the lake district
. (Lake poet )
 He was orphaned at an early stage .
 Romantic poet
 With Samuel Taylor Coleridge,launched the
Romantic Age in English literature.
 His love of nature
 Become poet Laureate in 1843
 He died in Rydal mount on April 23,1850.
INTRODUCTION :
 Born in 1772 in ottery st.mary on October
21,1772 .He was the youngest of ten
childrens.
 His parents weren’t married and he lost
his father when he was ten year.
 After his sister died , Coleridge was rather
ill and started to use opium.This would
addiction he would have for life .
 Coleridge and William Wordsworth wrote
lyrical ballads ,which is considered the
start of the English Romantic movement.
