3. DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WORDSWORTH AND COLERIDGE
WILLIAM WORDSWORTH
INTRODUCTION :
A British poet who was born April 7,1770 in
cockermouth ,camberland,in the lake district
. (Lake poet )
He was orphaned at an early stage .
Romantic poet
With Samuel Taylor Coleridge,launched the
Romantic Age in English literature.
His love of nature
Become poet Laureate in 1843
He died in Rydal mount on April 23,1850.
4. INTRODUCTION :
Born in 1772 in ottery st.mary on October
21,1772 .He was the youngest of ten
childrens.
His parents weren’t married and he lost
his father when he was ten year.
After his sister died , Coleridge was rather
ill and started to use opium.This would
addiction he would have for life .
Coleridge and William Wordsworth wrote
lyrical ballads ,which is considered the
start of the English Romantic movement.
