- The team conducted market research including interviews with blind users and revised their hypothesis and product concept based on the findings.
- Interviews found that while blind users chat regularly with close friends, they have difficulties traveling independently and desire assistance traveling within and between cities.
- The team decided to pivot their concept away from a social networking app based on feedback that existing apps meet users' social needs. They will instead explore solutions related to barrier-free travel planning and assistance.

14. Why We Decide to Pivot
We heard several signals that indicate to stop:
● Most of the social apps can meet the need of blind people.
● They all have close friends to chat to
● They don’t have strong desire to expand social network.
A lot of blind people have a hard time going out so they tend to stay at home.
Participants expressed their experience to travel outside.
