Deep Kalra was born on 18th May 1968 in
Hyderabad, India.
He completed his schooling from St.
Columba's School in New Delhi.
He graduated with a degree in Economics
from St. Stephen's College, Delhi University.
He then pursued an MBA from the Indian
Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.

• Deep Kalra started his career with ABN
AMRO Bank in 1992.
• He then moved to AMF Bowling Inc. in the
USA in 1995, where he worked as the Vice
President for Business Development.
• In 2000, he founded MakeMyTrip, which is

companies in India.
• In 2013, MakeMyTrip became a publicly
