5. SERVICES
Federal Energy Tax Credits (FETC)
• Section 45L Credit for Energy-Efficient New Homes is back which means new
homes sold or leased can qualify for $2,000 per home of tax credit. The
construction of the new homes must meet or exceed the 2006 IECC. In order to
qualify, a builder needs to have a tax basis in the home to claim the credit.
• For no charge, we can review your projects from 2014 – 2017 finished (sold or
leased units). One unit in a project may qualify and/or all the units. Should a
unit or units qualify for the Federal Energy Tax Credit (FETC), we then send a
proposal to process the FETC.
• If not one of our current Title 24 clients, we can still help. We need:
• Architectural plans
• Addresses, Lot Numbers, Plan Numbers, and closing/final dates
• You need to have the T24 Co. you used for your project share the files
with us in the HERS Provider Database
• You need to have the T24 Co. send us the .BLD or .XML files
