JOBSAND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Allisonleighann – Founder/Author (Fall 2012 – Present)
Lifestyle/Fashion blog. I come up with ideas, write and edit posts, and have full control over all aspects of
my blog. In between posts, I work on networking to find other blogs and companies to work with and
organize all payments for the brand.
 Starkville Daily News – General/Entertainment Reporter (Winter 2015 – Summer 2016)
I began this job by working as a generalnews reporter writing and editing stories for the daily paper, and
was also put in charge of creating content for a weekly, four-page entertainment section titled Stage
beginning in March. The first section published the first week of April.
 Princess Theatre – Bartender (Fall 2014 – Fall 2015)
I worked as a bartender making drinks, handling the cash register, and cleaning the work area once the
business was closed. I also stocked and helped with inventory whenever needed before and after shifts.
 Malco Cinema 8 – Customer Service (Spring 2010 – Fall 2014)
I sold tickets to movies as a cashier in the box office, sold concession on the registers behind the back
counter, cleaned theaters,and stocked whichever work area in which I was stationed.
 Lush to Blush – SocialMedia Assistant (Spring 2014 – Fall 2014)
I was in charge of publishing new posts to various social media websites, kept up with sponsored social
media requirements, and checked to make sure everything was updated regularly and correctly.
 District Magazine – Copy Editor (Summer 2014)
I proofread all entries into this startup web magazine, marking for grammar mistakes, misused words, and
format before the magazine was posted.
 Dilettanti. – Co-Editor (Spring 2014 – May 2015)
I proofread all entries into the literary magazine, marking for grammar mistakes, misused words, and the
like before the magazine was printed. I also consulted with companies about advertisements in the
magazine and oversaw the final product before it was sent out.
 MUWSpectator – Reporter (Fall 2013 – May 2015)
I wrote for MUW’s on campus newspaper as a reporter. Print editions come out once a month and online
stories are posted most every day.
