RELEVANT PROJECTS
 Junior Achievement-Went to “Ellis Elementary” and did an all-day presentation on careers and
businesses. What the presentation consisted of was the different types of careers and what types of
careers the students would be interested. In those, the students where shown what the careers make, the
education level, and if they will work for a large company or if they want to be self-employed.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
Advocate Practicum; Denver, Colorado; August 2015-December 2015
Student
 Learned how to write for articles for the newspaper.
o Learned that articles are meant to be short and research is based around interaction with others as
well as experiences rather than online and textbook research.
 Wrote different articles for the instructor and later on wrote articles for the newspaper.
The Bridge Project; Denver, Colorado; September 2015-May 2016
Education Intern
 Tutored students with reading and writing.
 Assisted large groups; ReadWell for Kindergarten through Third Grade and Book Club for Fourth and
Fifth Grade.
 Presented two lessons on comprehension through music.
Muse Events; Denver, Colorado; August 2016-December 2016
Public Relations/Marketing Intern
 Took photos at different weddings and wrote a blog about them.
 Sent out emails to publicize the company.
 Redesign the website.
 Helped fix files for different clients.
ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE
Subway; Arvada, Colorado; April 2012-present
Opener-opened the store with the manager and the assistant manager on the weekends and prepared the bread
and the vegetables as well as cleaned the lobby and washed dishes. Prepared sandwiches for guests.
Closer-closed the store by running the shift at night by preparing the meat and cleaning the store.

 New Orleans- July 2009- ELCA High School Gathering. Painted classrooms damaged by hurricane
