Responsibilities:
Responsible for daily interaction with Federal and State UST/Air inspectors
Compiles and provides all information requested from Federal, State, or Local
inspections, including, but not limited to, gathering paperwork (Testing Documents, CP
Surveys, Release Detection, etc), coordinating repairs with maintenance, tracking the
completion of any repairs and providing written responses to inspectors
Responsible for coordinating testing repairs with maintenance and communicating
findings to testing contractor. Tracks outstanding repairs, works with maintenance to
ensure the repairs are completed in a timely manner, reports repairs not getting
completed to supervisor and notifies testing contractor of completion dates
Obtains and reviews all required Air permits and Stage II Registrations. Requests
renewals, transfers or closure of permits if a store closes or changes ownership and
notifies the proper state agencies
Compiles Notice of Violation (NOV) documentation and analyzes data to provide
recommendations on processes to initiate to reduce future issues
Compiles Spill Metrics to track all spills reported through the emergency response
pager. Sends the Environmental Emergency Response Tracking Sheet to the
Environmental Representative on call for review and follows-up on a monthly basis to
ensure completion. Summarizes spills by Division and provides a report to the
Compliance Manager as needed
Compiles NOV’s and Designated Environmental Incident (DEI) statistics to track the
reported deficiencies, dates responses are due to the state and all associated penalties or
fines associated with environmental NOV’s or DEI’s
2. Responsible for monthly monitoring for drinking water/wells, and waste water
treatment – works closely with consultants and operators in the West
Responsible for Storm water monitoring and requirements for the West
Accountable for tracking inspection frequency, sending work orders and ensuring
pictures/inspections are completed for all flexible piping inspections
Assists other compliance and/or environmental team members on an as needed basis
