It is my pleasure to submit this letter of recommendation in support of Alissa Fono. Alissa
is currently a junior at Texas Tech University, and is pursuing a degree in Advertising, with
an anticipated graduation date of spring 2017.
I have known Alissa her entire life. In addition to her commitment to academics, Alissa is
involved in a number of extracurricular activities, including the Tech Advertising
Federation (TAF), Tech PR (Public Relations), and is a member of Alpha Chi Omega
Sorority. Alissa has held a number of leadership positions within Alpha Chi Omega, ranging
from the Assistant Public Relations and Marketing Chair; P.A.C.E. Chair; and the Public
Relations Committee. Alissa is a volunteer at the Woman’s Protective Services shelter, and
is currently employed by Paddle Tramps Manufacturing and is a Social Media Marketing
intern at Foot Tech. I have worked in advertising for more than 25 years and know that
Alissa would be a tremendous asset to any advertising firm. She is open and eager to learn
all aspects of the business: from Account Management to Creative to Media and Digital
Marketing. Alissa is willing to go above and beyond of what is required and thrives in
working in a fast pace environment.
I am very proud of Alissa as a student, a volunteer, and as a responsible, hard-working
young adult. She is confident, easy going and honest. Alissa has proven that through hard
work, follow through, and a commitment to team work, she can accomplish anything she
puts her mind to. I strongly recommend Alissa to be a member of any advertising team and
