To whom it may concern:
Dylan Ross started working for Brown’s Shoe Fit in the summer of 2013. He has worked at Shenandoah, Iowa
and our Maryville, Missouri location. He has worked part-time since 2013 and has always done an excellent
job. He possesses a sharp aptitude for sales negotiations, an approachable manner, and an amiable
personality. He has always displayed a positive attitude while providing the work environment with a unique
energy. Dylan is an analytic problem solver when faced with business and customer service situations and his
work ethic is of the highest quality.
Selfishly we at Brown’s Shoe Fit would love to keep him and have him own and manage a store within our
company. We have 80 stores throughout 12 states and are always looking for the highest quality people to
own and operate our stores. Dylan displays all the qualities we look for in our owners. He shows the
responsibility and maturity to handle such operation at a young age, coupled with the education and
common-sense to increase profits.
Dylan has been a leader not only during his professional career with us, but also in his collegiate years. He
has been a Phi Sigma Kappa Fraternity member for 4 years, and was elected as the public relations chairman,
where his marketing experience and tact earned him the accolade of “Most Outstanding Chairman of 2015 -
2016”. He has spent time volunteering for both the Special Olympics and St. Jude’s Children’s hospital.
Beyond volunteering and working, Dylan was always able to maintain a part-time job for all 4 years at
Northwest Missouri State and maintain a great GPA in a rigorous double-major program. This multi-tasking
ability, coupled with his professionalism and experience would make him a valuable asset to any company.
With my highest recommendation, I feel Dylan would be able to handle any career he has a passion for and
be very successful at it. He is a hard worker with a great mind, and most importantly a good person.
