◉ Perform case studies (Install our system on 2 model archetype homes)
◉ With data collected, pitch to eco-friendly home builders / developers
◉ Hire more employees
◉ Expand to individual homeowners (new market)
◉ Further Product Development (future)
18. Step 1: Install the System
◉ Our expert installation team reroutes pipes from all
showers, bathroom sinks, the washing machine, and the
dishwasher to go through the GreyTech system.
◉ A small area is excavated in the home’s yard, before grass is
laid down, in order to house the treatment tanks.
◉ Drip irrigation tubes are installed before grass is laid down.
19. Step 2: Collect
◉ Whenever a shower, bathroom sink,
washing machine, or dishwasher is used,
the water is routed and stored in the
primary treatment tank.
◉ If more water is used than what is required
to irrigate the lawn, the primary treatment
tank will release the extra water into the
sewage line.
20. Step 3: Four Stage Treatment System
◉ Stage 1: Particulate filtration
◉ Stage 2: pH control
◉ Stage 3: Desalination
◉ Stage 4: UV Sterilization
21. Step 4: Irrigate
◉ Subterranean drip irrigation system nourishes the lawn.
◉ 90-95% of the water that is released from the drip system is
taken up by the grass.
◉ 30% more efficient than traditional sprinkler systems.
22. Step 5: Maintain
◉ $200 annual maintenance subscription.
◉ Technicians come monthly to clean filter
and electrodes, refill pH control modules
and ensure the system is working
correctly.
◉ If anything goes wrong, technicians will
come and repair it as part of the covered
subscription
23. More Technical Information
◉ Water pump to collect water from sinks, shower, and
washing machine
◉ Filter out large particulates
◉ Neutralize the soap or acids by adding acid or base in order
to make salt in water with pH around 6-8
◉ Separate salt compounds from water by splitting salt into
ions that attach to positive and negative electrodes
◉ Water is sterilized using UV light
◉ Then, water is pumped for use in drip irrigation
◉ Drip irrigation: 35% more efficient
24. Story behind the Idea
◉ Drought is prevalent
◉ Water is a scarce resource
◉ Eco-Friendly drip irrigation
systems used in Frey’s Vineyards
◉ How do we be sustainable?
Reuse greywater to water our lawns
using efficient drip irrigation
systems!
