1) The Learning Exchange library provides teachers and staff in the Catholic Diocese of Parramatta access to high-quality virtual and physical resources to improve learning at the class, school, and system levels. 2) The Learning Exchange is located at the Aengus Kavanagh Education and Equity Centre in Mt Druitt. 3) During her work placement, Alicia Jasinski gained experience performing various library duties and learned how new technologies like iPads, QR codes, and augmented reality are being used in libraries and schools.

16. What I enjoyed most about working at the Learning
Exchange..
Completing my work placement at the Learning Exchange was a great
experience. The staff were all terrific; friendly, supportive and always there if I
had questions.
I gained real life experience performing library duties such as Circulation,
Cataloging and Collection Maintenance, and as I was working in a special/
professional library I also had the opportunity to work with equipment that
would not have been available to me in a typical public library setting.
I learnt how to use iPads, QR Codes and Augmented reality resources and how
these new technologies are being introduced into and being made use of in
libraries and schools.
