colleaguestoensure hercopywasof a highstandardand withinguidelines. Alice wrote copyfora
numberof differentpurposes,includingstudentprofiles(webandprint),newstories(weband
print),ande-communications.
Alice learnedtouse NTU’sCMS, Rhythmyx,andcannow complete arange of actionsincluding
creatingnewcontent,creatinggalleries,uploadingandlinkingpublicationstoour course finder,
uploadingdocumentsandimages,andeditingbasicpages.
Alice hasmanageda large volume of printjobsduringherrole inthe team. She has takenfull
responsibilityinrunningthesejobs,liaisingwithinternal stakeholdersinNTU’sprintand publication
team,puttingtogetheracreative brief forthe job,writingcopyandliaisingwithcopywriters. Alice
has alsolearnedhowtobrief ourdesigners,andworkwiththemtoachieve the requiredmarketing
outcome,workinginbrandandmanagingdeliveryof the jobwithindeadlines.
Alice hastakenresponsibilityforthe deliveryof the datafor our undergraduate offerpackproject,
downloadingdatafromourCRM systemandsortingandmail mergingthe data,and liaisingwiththe
mailinghouse,todeadline. Thisisa complex process,and Alice hasshownaneye fordetail and
thoroughnessinherworkonthistask.
2. Alice hasdevelopedherresearchskills,conductingathoroughandfocusedcompetitorreview. She
researchedandrecordedwhatourkeycompetitorswere offeringandhow theywere marketing,
and presentedherfindingsinaworkshopswithmanagement. Alice alsoofferedideasaround
recommendationsforimprovementstoourownactivities.
Throughoutherrole at NTU Alice hasliaisedwitharange of differentstakeholders.Fromacademic
staff to marketingstaff,students,supportstaff andseniormanagement.
