WORK EXPERIENCE
2014-To date: I work at Kenya breweries limited as a technical operator first worked in line
three dry end where I dealt with depalletizer,unpacker,packer and palletizer.During this period I
practiced machine cleaning, inspection, autonomous maintenance ,machine lubrication,
preventive maintenance ,machine operations and became competent in troubleshooting. I was
also advantaged to learn some electrical system that is electrical photocell, coders and reset of
machine at control panel. I was then shifted to line two which is the latest in packaging .I worked
at bottle washer and pasturizer.At this particular time I dealt with steam, water pumps, heat
exchangers and their operations. Am working at the labelers still in line two. At the labelers I do
machine inspection that is confirming if all interlocks are in place and functioning, autonomous
maintenance ,preventive maintenance , machine lubricating at the labeler I do machine size
change, cleaning the machine when changing to a different brand. Still on the labelers I have
worked with laser coding machine, bottle rejecter, KRA coding machine, conveyors and
compressed air which is very crucial at all machines. Currently am working at the canning line
where I operate machine like; filler, seamer, coding machines, shrink wrapper and the cartoner.I
also perform duties like machine cleaning, autonomous maintenance so as to improve the
machine performance. I am well trained on the KRA stamp applicator which is so important at
canning line.
At KBL I have done some training that include safety training, ppms and mms that’s makes me
be machine friendly and work incident and accident free.
2013-2014: I worked at Gertrude children hospital as a mechanical technician .My duties were to
attend to the boilers, laundry machines, and kitchen appliances. I also did some minor electrical
jobs like changing of bulbs, chokes, fuses, installing of emergency lights and service of gate
barriers. I took all utilities records
2012-2013: I worked as a machine operator at lab and allied pharmaceutical company. I cleaned,
did autonomous maintenance and lubricated the machine to enhance machine performance.
3. 2011: I went for my attachment at national cereals and produce board where I acquired practical
knowledge of compressed air and its function, dryers, industrial diesel oil, conveyors, hoppers
and weighbridge.
2009: I did my driving course and acquired a BCE driving license.
