Alex Lowe asked me to write a letter of recommendation for him and this is my honor. He played on my
soccer team at the University of Saint Francis over the past two seasons in which he has been a leader since his
freshmen year. His team mates respect him very much.
Since Alex joined our program, he has been a leader. His influence on the team has been profound. He
treats all of the players the same. The best players on the team get his compliments when they do well. The less
experienced guys or not as talented get his instruction as well as compliments. He amazes me with his style of
leadership. He will pick players that are not as good when we let the players divide the team to play and works to
help them improve. His teammates show him the utmost respect, because his leadership style includes them and
he makes them feel important. I have had many who understood what it means to lead. Alex is one of those
young men.
His loyalty to the program has been incredible. We talk about leadership and how leaders have to look out
for the best of the team over the individual players. He is starting to recognize the importance of doing this while
balancing the importance of helping individuals grow as people. He is making an impact on the team. As Alex
grows in his leadership skills, he has made decisions that show me he puts the team first and shows me his loyalty.
All the other things I can say about Alex: Responsible, Team Player, Hard Working, Can Work on his own,
all describe Alex. He knows how to motivate and work with people. I can give him a project and he makes sure it
gets completed and completed well.
I highly recommend Alex for the position he has applied. He will come in and make your company a
better place. He is a great person. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Respectfully,
Mitch Ellisen
