local fashion designers to buyers and consumers
alike. Our mission is to raise visibility to the amazing
fashion we have here in the Northwest. It’s a well-
kept secret that Seattle is number 8 in top 20 US
Metros for Fashion Designers, and one of 56 Fashion
Weeks worldwide.
The Pacific Northwest has built a style movement here
all on its own, keeping character and authenticity
in mind. The fashion industry here is a growing
community of innovative designers and a major area
of apparent talent that is paving the path for newness.

London. Like A Rockstar stitches the fabrics and style of yesterday onto the flash of today.

KAREN ASHLEY DESIGNS
Karen Ashley Langley a local fashion designer in the greater Tacoma/Seattle area. The KAREN
ASHLEY line is a celebration of a woman’s femininity, elegance, beauty, strength; and of course,
embracing fashion. Not wanting to go the route of fast fashion, my design aesthetic is to incorporate
a thoughtful nod toward elements of trend; with timeless, classic, flawless, fashion; while always
employing the use of design elements and principles, to provide cohesion. Using the best materials
and construction as possible, I love to explore the balance of solids with patterns, or the contrast
of using straighter geometric lines with more softer and curvilinear lines.

HOUSE OF HALM BY MARIA HAM
The design esthetic for the House of Halm focuses on garments that women would feel comfortable
and confident in wearing from day to night, night to gym. Each piece can be intermixed with basics
that customers may already have in their wardrobe. House of Halm aims to be versatile, innovative
and maintain a grade of quality expected to match luxury designer labels. What ties the collection
together is the use of exposed zippers, trims and shapes as well as color combinations to focus on
mixing black and white with other colors. Attention to detail, fit, and revamping older trends by
adding a twist are the things that make this collection special.

The KAREN ASHLEY line is a celebration of a woman’s femininity, elegance, beauty, strength; and of course, embracing fashion. Not wanting to go the route of fast fashion, my design aesthetic is to incorporate a thoughtful nod toward elements of trend; with timeless, classic, flawless, fashion; while always employing the use of design elements and principles, to provide cohesion. Using the best materials and construction as possible, I love to explore the balance of solids with patterns, or the contrast of using straighter geometric lines with more softer and curvilinear lines. KARENASHLEYFASHION.COM HOUSE OF HALM BY MARIA HAM The design esthetic for the House of Halm focuses on garments that women would feel comfortable and confident in wearing from day to night, night to gym. Each piece can be intermixed with basics that customers may already have in their wardrobe. House of Halm aims to be versatile, innovative and maintain a grade of quality expected to match luxury designer labels. What ties the collection together is the use of exposed zippers, trims and shapes as well as color combinations to focus on mixing black and white with other colors. Attention to detail, fit, and revamping older trends by adding a twist are the things that make this collection special. MARIAHAM.COM
