Current Role and Duties:
The primary responsibility of the Data Center Systems
Engineer is to resolve customer pain points with secure, up to
date virtualization solutions that best meet the customer’s
needs.
Data Center Systems Engineers support Enterprise and SMB
organizations with solutions involving Cloud, On Prem,
Virtualization, Networking, Load Balancing, Backup,
Monitoring, and Recovery.
Key features of the role will be to provide both pre-sales
support and post-sales engineering and install for internal and
external managers that includes: development and delivery of
presentations and extraneous material to support the
customer solution, relationships with local vendor
representatives, and communication of key PCM/En Pointe
capabilities that enhance local Enterprise and SBM account
managers.
Expected representation of virtualization and networking
vendors include Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, XenServer,
XenMobile, ShareFile and NetScaler MPX, VPX and SDX ADC,
VMware ESXi, and Lakeside SysTrack.
Significant career responsibilities and accomplishments:
• Solutions Architect for Enterprise client NetScaler MPX and
XenDesktop 7.X environment
• NetScaler solution for municipality
• Monitoring solution for all aspects of Citrix Farm
• XenDesktop deployment for large police department
• AWS hosted XenApp deployment
• XenMobile deployment for 450 user
