1. Diary Entry 1
February 27, 1550
I have decided to begin a diary about my life during this time of rebirth and
change in society. My name is JeaneChaileviar. I am an artist, and I paint what
the pope tells me to paint.
Describe how your character looks using the words in Entry 1 to help you:
I have dirty blonde hair, blue eyes. My face has freckles, and my lips are big and
red. My body type is thin; it’s good because I can walk faster.
My job is or my father works as serf, and I’m not comfortable about that, but I try
my best to make as much money for my family. _
I have a family. They are Josephine (my mother), Jack (my father),Derrick) my
brother) Jessica (my sister).
I live in the city of London in a manor, which has over 20 rooms .
Over the last years I have seen many people become educated and
knowledgeable about the world. I am also trying to live the life of a Renaissance
woman. I am trying to make a difference; I want to do a different art piece, and
trying to take a risk from it.
Good-bye for now. I will write a new entry soon!
2. Diary Entry 2
March 3, 1550
Today I was walking in the center of Rome and saw all of the beautiful artwork
done by our new local artist named Leonardo Da Vinci,I decided that I should tell
you about how he makes his paintings so alive, and so realistic. The painting was
about how all of us are on the floor and looking up in the sky and seeing a light, it
was so real, so emotional, and it was really a good and fantastic painting.
His most famous and well-known work is the Mona Lisa. Everyone thinks it is so
great because of her smile; it was like she was forced to smile, and how realistic
it is.
His Art has changed the way that people think about god, and how everything
doesn’t link to god, you don’t have to paint everything about god, or religion.
I like every painting has a meaning to it, a different meaning, something real and
not fake
I also recently heard about a new writer named Shakespeare.
I decided that I should tell you about his writing style, its so different, and better.
He writes a range of writing, like poetry, stories, sketches.
His writing has changed the way that people think about life, how its not how the
pope can control you, about making a difference for the world, and yourself.
I like his work because its so different, and how it makes you think about your
life, and just makes you feel different.
3. Diary Entry 3

Dear Diary,
Today I wanted to share something that I heard about from some friends of
mine. I heard about a man named Galileo. Galileo is from Italydiscovery of the
four largest satellites of Jupiter (named the Galilean moons in his honour).
I think that Galileo’s discovery isrealbecause, his discoveries are making a
change in the world. I also have heard about another scientist named Leonardo
Da Vincihas invented the bicycle. He lived during the renaissance and comes
from Italy. His invention has really changed the way we see life now, because we
have a new way to transport. I like this invention because its unique, and I liked
how its balanced and how it was thought out.
