What is the ORAC Scale?
Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity Scale
The ORAC Scale of Antioxidant Capacity was developed
at Tufts University and has been shown to be one of the
most sensitive and reliable methods of measuring
antioxidant capacity. This method measures the oxygen
radical absorption capacity of different foods and natural
substances and also measures both the time and degree
of free-radical inhibition.
What are ANTIOXIDANTS?
ANTIOXIDANTS are specific nutrients in our food
