3. Digital Transformation and Innovation with
AWS Cloud
● AWS started with own data center
● Managing IT infrastructure by their own
● Challenges faced
○ Underutilized IT assets
○ Slow IT Deployment
4. Services
• Compute: EC2, Lambda, etc.
• Storage: S3, S3 Glacier, etc.
• Management Tools: Cloud Watch, Auto Scaling, Cloud Trail, etc.
• Media Services: MediaConvert, MediaPackage, MediaLive, etc.
• Database: RDS, DynamoDB etc.
• Security, Identity & Compliance: IAM, Cognito, Single Sign-On, KMS, etc.
5. Services

• Security, Identity & Compliance: IAM, Cognito, Single Sign-On, KMS, etc.
7. Why do we need Security?
• Network security is any action an organization takes to prevent malicious use or
accidental damage to the network's private data, its users, or their devices.
• The goal of network security is to keep the network running and safe for all
legitimate users and Blocking unauthorized use of the network.
9. IAM Service
• AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) is a web service that helps you
securely control access to AWS resources
• Single Sign-In identity that has complete access to all AWS services and
resources in the account. This identity is called the AWS account root user
• Group: Number of users
• Roles: Number of policies
10. CloudTrail
• With CloudTrail, you can log, continuously monitor, and retain account activity
related to actions across your AWS infrastructure.
• CloudTrail provides event history of your AWS account activity, including actions
taken through the AWS Management Console, AWS SDKs, command line tools,
and other AWS services.
• This event history simplifies security analysis, resource change tracking, and
troubleshooting.
11. How does it Work?
Account activity
occurs
CloudTrail captures and
records the activity as a
CloudTrail Event
You can view and
downloaded your
activity
in the CloudTrail Event
History
You can set up
CloudTrail
and define an Amazon
S3 bucket for storage
A log of CloudTrail events
is delivered to S3 bucket
and optionally delivered to
CloudWatch logs and
CloudWatch Events
13. Media Services
• AWS Media Services make it fast and easy to prepare, process, and deliver
broadcast and over-the-top video from the AWS Cloud.
• AWS Media Services, you can innovate, test, and deploy video services without
spending a lot of time or money to procure and integrate technology
• Services scale as needed, maintaining consistent, high-quality content delivery
as you add outputs or grow your audience.
14. Media Services
• MediaConvert: Prepare file-based video assets for on-demand broadcast and
multiscreen delivery.
• MediaLive: Converts inputs into live outputs. E.g.: Live Sports Broadcasting
• MediaPackage: AWS Elemental MediaPackage reliably prepares and protects
your video for delivery over the Internet
• MediaStore: Originate and store video assets for live or on-demand media
workflows
• MediaTailor: Personalize and monetize multiscreen video content with server-
side ad insertion
