2. CYBER BULLYING :
"Cyber bullying" is when a child, preteen or teen
is tormented, threatened, harassed, humiliated,
embarrassed or otherwise targeted by another child,
preteen or teen using the Internet, interactive and
digital technologies or mobile phones.
3. CAUSES
Some people thought their confidence could
upgrade if they cyber bully.
It makes them feel powerful as it is also a way to
maintain their popularity.
Some people just want attention
4. Socially inactive people may bully other people as
it is a chance to fit in and to prove that they are not
weak and that they are compatible with their
surroundings
5. EFFECTS:
Cyber bullying is also an action of bullying, there
is a law for it and the victims may report the case if
they have enough proof.
6. Targeted students are stressed and distracted from
learning. In some cases, students may be a victim of
suicide.
Low-esteem of the victim
7. Withdrawal from family and spending a lot of time alone
Reluctance to let parents or other family members anywhere near
their mobiles, laptops etc
Finding excuses to stay away from school or work including school
refusal
Friends disappearing or being excluded from social events
8. Losing weight or changing appearance to try and fit in
Fresh marks on the skin that could indicate self-harm and dressing
differently such as wearing long sleeved clothes in the summer to hide
any marks
A change in personality i.e. anger, depression, crying, withdrawn
9. POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS:
Limit Personal Information That is Shared
Talk to People
Never Go Somewhere to Meet a Person You’ve Met Online.
Do Not Post Pictures of Your Body Online
Be Respectful to Others.
Never Give Out Your Password
Save Whatever Evidence You Have.
8. Stand Up and Say Something.
