2. The Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)®
certification was created by the Project Management
Institute to meet the needs of project managers who

And just like with the PMP certification, PMI has
constructed an exam based on real world tasks,
tools, and practices used by agile teams every day.

The PMI-ACP exam is designed to reflect the
way teams work in the real world. It covers the
most common methods and methodologies,
including Scrum, XP, and Lean/Kanban. The
exam questions are based on knowledge and

5. Exam Information
The PMI-ACP exam is comprised of 120 multiple-choice questions. Of the 120
questions, 20 are considered pretest questions. Pretest questions do not affect
the score and are used in examinations as an effective and legitimate way to
test the validity of future questions. All questions are randomly placed
throughout the exam.

The PMI-ACP certification exam is developed based on the PMI-ACP® Examination Content Outline.

PMIACP ® Examination Content Outline.
Each exam question is referenced to texts, such as

reference list.
