Ahmed Amirul Arefin of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at United Internatiaonl University is working on a project using a PLC to control a crane. The crane has three axes - X, Y, and Z - which use DC series motors to move the crane forward/backward, left/right, and up/down respectively by running the motors clockwise or counterclockwise. DC series motors are used due to their ability to provide high torque necessary for lifting heavy loads with the crane.

Description: There are 3 axes- X, Y & Z. X axis represented that if the motor is run
clockwise then it will go forward direction and if the motor run in anti- clockwise than it
will go reverse direction in the same axis. This thing will also happen for the Y & Z axis .
Here Y axis represented that the crane can go left and right direction & Z axis represented
that crane can go up & down direction.
An important thing is that here we use DC series motor , because Dc Series motor has
high torque which is important for carrying heavy load .
