There are 2 types of training :
1 :- On-the job training
2 :- Off-the job training
It refers to new or inexperienced
employees learning through
observing peers or managers
performing the job and trying to
imitate their behaviour.
 Less disruptive to the Business.
 Gain direct experience to a
standard approved by the
employer.
 Its productive because as the
employee is still working as they
are learning.
This involves training outside the
work place off the job training can
take the form of external courses
such as self study , open learning .
 Trainee is separated from the work
environment .
 Study material.
 Fully concentrated on study rather
then performing.
 Freedom of expression.
 Employee welfare mean anything
done for the comfort and
improvement intellectual or social .
 It helps to improve
 It improves the morale and loyalty
of the employees
 It reduce labor turnover and
absenteeism
 It helps to improve industrial peace
and industrial relation ship
 It helps to improve employees
productivity.
INTRAMURAL : these are provided
within the organization like :

EXTRAMURAL :These are provided
outside the organization :

 Education
 Child welfare
 Leave travel facilities
 Interest free loans
 TODAY WELFARE HAS BEEN
GENRALLY ACCEPTED BY THE
EMPLOYERS .EACH EMPLOYER
