space
1. Who has the power to issue permit?
The SA may approve to issue a permit.
2. What is the purpose?
for purpose of erecting, maintaining and occupying
a structure

 If involves reserved land – to get consent from the
officer in charge of the reserved land

4. How is it made? – section 75B
In prescribed form and adress to land
administrator with :-
a. prescribed fee
b. details of structure to be erected and plan
approved by planning authority.
e.g town + country planning
If structure to be erected on reserved land, consent
from officer concerned.
If SA is satisfied, application approves.

5. Issuance of Permits. – section 75C
Land Administrator shall issue on behalf of SA a
permit in F4D
6. Conditions of permit – section 75D
permit shall be issued subject to :
- payment of annual fee (determine by SA)
- other terms that may be specified.

7. Section 75E – No Assignment except with State
consent.
Permit shall not be assigned except with consent of
then State.
8. Section 75F – Security deposit.
The SA may direct LA to ask deposit before
issuance of permit.

9. Section 75G - Power to cancel Permits.
(1) a permit may be cancelled immediately if there
is breach of rule, term or condition.
 no compensation shall be paid
 deposit shall be forfeited.
(2) A permit may be cancelled before expiry at SA
discretion even if there is no breach.
 Compensation shall be paid.
