 Francine Ilunga Mpanga Mufuk, Ivory Coast: A missionary of the General Board of Global Ministries of The United
Methodist Church serving as coordinator for Young Girls Ministry.
 Jean Ntahoturi and Zephirin Ndikumana, Burundi: Ntahoturi is an ordained elder and legal representative of the Burundi
Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church. Ndikumana serves as the conference lay leader.
 Mwazvita Machinga, Zimbabwe: A professor, PhD in Psychotherapy, and holder of the James M. Walker Chair of Pastoral
Care and Counseling at Africa University.
 Tawanda Chandiwana, Zimbabwe: A Global Mission Fellow/young adult missionary with Global Ministries who served with
InPeace in the Philippines. He was arrested in mid-2018 while participating in a training seminar at the Mindanao
Peacebuilding Institute and spent 56 days in detention. A public campaign that included a statement by the Council of Bishops
and an online petition secured his release and enabled two other missionaries to be allowed to leave the Philippines.
 Wehnam Dabale and Claudine Migisha, Nigeria and Democratic Republic of Congo: Wehnam is the International
Students Advisor and Claudine is a June 2019 graduate. Orphaned at six, she has earned a degree in Psychology and leads
youth empowerment efforts in her community.
 Chipo Zoe Chikomo, Zimbabwe: A 2016 beneficiary of the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders. She is
the country director for “Girls for Days Zimbabwe”—which aims to create a more dignified, free and educated world through
access to sustainable feminine hygiene solutions. She is also the executive director of Nhanga Trust.
 Francisco Viagem Tivane, Mozambique: Pastor of Dondo UMC in Cyclone Idai-ravaged central region of Mozambique.
