Adriane Besse studied economics and business for one semester at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona. She performed very well in her Business Logistics course, earning a grade of 7.5 out of 10. She also volunteered as one of three project coordinators. As a coordinator, she helped students form groups and define project topics. She communicated regularly with students to answer questions and ensure they met deadlines. Adriane proposed a grading rubric and provided feedback on student projects. Based on her strong academic performance and leadership skills as a project coordinator, the professor highly recommends Adriane for a position.

To whom it may concern,
It is a great pleasure to write this letter of recommendation to Ms. Adriane Besse in her
application for a job. Adriane studied economics and business for one exchange semester at
‘Universitat Pompeu Fabra’ in Barcelona. In this period, Adriane was my student at the course of
Business Logistics (reference number: 21958). Not only she performed very well in the course
with a grade of 7.5 (out of 10), but she also volunteer to be one of the project coordinators (out of
three). She showed a high motivation to do this volunteer work, as well as good skills for team
and leading work, and capacity to handling several tasks simultaneously.
As Project Coordinator, her tasks were: to help the students to create their groups and to
define the topic of the project; To do so, the three project coordinators (Adriane was one of them)
created a facebook group so that the students were able to communicate more easily about their
research, project work and questions. They also maintain a fluid communication with student to
help them with basic questions, let them know the deadlines and being an interface with the
professor (me). They also propose a "grading table" in which they defined what was expected
from the projects and how they will be evaluated. This grading was then discussed with the
professor. Afterwards the project coordinators read and grade all projects, and delivered a report
to the professor on their opinion and comments. The professor, of course, determine the final
grade but the input and perspective of the project coordinators were quite helpful. Also, they
select the best project to be presented in the lecture classes. I must say that Adriane did an
excellent job, leading the group and assuming an important role as project manager.
This role of Adriane (project coordinator) demonstrate that, not only Adriane was a good
student, but has other important skills as team group, leading skills, responsibility, and social and
open mind-set in her collaborative working environment. Consequently, I am very convinced that
Adriane is able to do well in any job and hereby wish her an affluent future career, achieving her
inspiring goals.
In summary, I high recommend Ms. Adriane Besse to a position at your business.
Yours faithfully,
Barcelona, 16th
